See more projectsThis was an interesting project on a home Lake Darling, near Alexandria, MN. This bridge was 80 feet in length, made of log posts with log railings. Because of the extreme exposure to the elements, it developed some serious problems with rot. One thing that is an indicator that there is rot is when you see moss growing on the top of a log post. That means there is too much moisture in the log, which is a precursor to rot.
