Matching the color of stain on the new logs

Replacing logs can be tricky and time consuming. At the end of the process, stain must be applied to the replacement logs that will match the rest of the logs. Whether the old logs have been blasted or are just being re-stained, a good stain match must be figured out.

Through the years, we have developed techniques to mix stains in order to figure out what combination of pigments will best match the new logs to the old ones. This is an important part of the refinishing process and it can determine the customer's overall satisfaction with the way their log home looks.
